Let's Encrypt discontinues old versions of Android

  Let’s Encrypt will discontinue old versions of Android from September 2021.

  This includes versions of Android prior to 7.1.1. That means those older versions of Android will no longer trust certificates issued by Let’s Encrypt. (Source)

  Who knows a pluginn to warn users with old versions of Android?

  Hi! I’m not sure of a plugin that targets a person’s operating system version and shows a message accordingly.. You might ask at https://wordpress.org/support/forums/ though; these forums are for the free hosted sites, which don’t allow plugins.

  You might also ask on Stack Exchange or a similar site, as I’d imagine many more sites will be affected if the certificate isn’t renewed.

  @mwh2014 for what it’s worth, there’s talk browsers updating to support this. I can’t say for sure what will happen. But I do recommend checking in on a site like that, as this affects much more than the WordPress community.
