    This website belongs to a friend of mine where he’s paid someone else to make up the website on his behalf. But I believe it’s still WordPress based.

    But I’m wondering if there’s any way to incorporate such drop down and animation with headers within .com at all?

    The site you are referencing is using some some custom programming. Although some animations are supported here at WordPress.com, as of this time, not all of them are, so all of what they have done may not be doable here. It’s actually a pretty big job to do things like this. The parallax effect you see as you scroll requires Javascript and we cannot use that here at WordPress.com. There are some themes here that have the parallax effect. Harmonic comes to mind.
