Levels of access to pages on my blog

  Is it possible to set up levels of access for followers or subscribers to my blog. I am contemplating set up my blog so that any member of the public can access the home page, followers can access a limited range of pages, and a designated group of followers can access all pages on my blog. I would prefer not to have to provide passwords on an individual basis but rather allow access to pages based on their level of “qualification”.

  There is no easy way to do that sort of thing on WordPress.com. You can set a password for individual pages/posts using these instructions:

  http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/page-visibility/

  You can also set your site to be “private” and require your approval for anyone to see it:

  http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/privacy-settings/

  But there isn’t really a way to set up a three tiered system as you are hoping for.
