Hello! I had a look at your site on my mobile, and the book cover image for What Santi Forgot is already showing right at the top of the homepage. Here’s a screenshot below so you can see exactly what I’m seeing:

Were you able to figure that part out since you wrote in, or is there something else you were hoping to adjust? I’m happy to help either way!
As for changing the background color of your navigation bar, here’s how you can do it:
- From your dashboard, go to Appearance > Editor.
- Open your homepage in the editor.
- Use the List View (icon in the top toolbar) to expand the Header pattern, then expand the blocks inside it until you find the Navigation block.
- Click on the Navigation block, then in the right sidebar, look under Styles.
- In the Color section, you’ll find the Background setting. Choose the color you’d like here.
Here’s a detailed guide in case you’d like a bit more context: Navigation Block – Styles.
Let me know how that goes, or if you need help with anything else!

Hello @ihatepacking! I’d be happy to help you with this.
If you’d like to make your navigation or any other elements sticky (so they stay visible while scrolling), you can do that by grouping them first. Once you’ve selected the group, head over to the Position settings in the sidebar and set it to Sticky.
To make things easier, here’s a guide you can follow step-by-step:

Please feel free to follow these steps, and let me know how it goes! We’ll be here, ready to help. 😊 -

Hi @ihatepacking,
I took a look at your site and noticed there’s currently no navigation menu showing. Did you remove it recently? If so, feel free to add it back — once it’s there, I can guide you on how to make it sticky.
Also, while browsing through your homepage, I noticed a few large images that might be slowing things down a bit. Optimizing them could help your site load faster. This guide might come in handy: https://wordpress.com/support/media/image-optimization/
In short — reducing the file size and uploading lighter versions can make a big difference in speed and performance.
Once the menu is back in place, just let me know and I’ll walk you through the next steps.
