LGBTQ+ advert?
-
Greetings
I’m so far really satisfied with wordpress.com, which enabled me a platform way to express my thought for the public to read. Unfortunately, when I’m checking my blog, it seems that there’s an advertisement of LQGBT+ . I’m sorry, but this should not been happen since most of my readers are mostly traditional people whom don’t want any advertisement of this stuff. It’s might okay for the western countries, but for us living in our own traditional way, LGBTQ+ are simply no.
I do understand that Automattic need advertisement so support WordPress ecosystem. I don’t mind too, understood it is a free blogging platform, so I’m need to follow certain conditions so that I can run my blog freely. But yet, having an advert that contradict our belief system are simply no go.
I don’t know if Automattic could have an option for wordpress.com users to select what type of advert they prefer to have in their blogs. Perhaps Automattic could consider it?
Thank you

Hey there! You can learn more about how WordPress.com serves ads on free sites here: https://wordpress.com/support/no-ads/#about-our-ads
Specifically, this might help answer your question:
Free WordPress.com websites include ads. Displaying ads helps us pay the bills and keep your site free.
WordPress.com works with a variety of partners and products to run advertising on WordPress.com sites. We are always testing out new partners, products, and strategies to balance ad revenue with user experience. The ads seen by your viewers are determined by their location, browsing history, page content, and other factors. We vet our advertising partners and sign agreements with each to ensure they will not display mature or illegal content or an array of other prohibited creative content.
Sometimes, however, site owners and visitors might still see ads they personally object to — for example, ads for products they oppose. We do not endorse the content of any ad, and we encourage site owners to inform their audience that ads are not selected by you, but rather are provided by WordPress.com or our third-party advertising partners.
Site owners and visitors can also often block specific ad creatives for themselves via the ad choices icon in the corner of the ad.
