  I am looking to create a library of various resources (pdf, podcast, ppt, video…) on my site. I would then like to be able to give visitors the possibility to filter these resources by categories (several categories at once), or even by subcategory.

  I can’t find a satisfactory way to do this. The ajax and taxonomy plugins I tested don’t really answer my problem.

  The most logical way would seem to be to find a plugin able to display and filter media files on the desired page of the site.

  One way to accomplish this would be to create different categories of posts (pdf, podcast, etc.) to show on different pages. Here are a couple of options:

  * Use the blog posts block on each of your pages, filtering by category
  * Setup category pages

  Jetpack Search also offers ways to filter results, which might also work for you.
