"Libre" Theme: pictures problem on front page
-
Hi,
I’ve a problem with my frontpage blog, with the way my articles appears.
I’d like to see that kind of “look”: https://libredemo.wordpress.com/ -> “My favorite book”
Means: a picture and insert a “more” line where I want it to be.I’ve already asked on french forum,
I already try to insert a “featured image” or insert a picture inside the text of the article,But nothing do…
Do you have any idea of the problem?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
You need to add the feature image in the module to the right of the post edit in order for it to show up on the post page: https://cloudup.com/cAvOuwejeyC
For more information on setting up your featured images, please visit our support page:
Thanks!

Hi!
Thanks for your answer.
But as I said, I’ve already tried to insert a featured image but that doesn’t work. (you can see on my blog, I’ve just insert one for you to see).
That’s why poeple from french forum told me to come here for asking.
And my “more” line doesn’t appear where I insert it :( -
Gotcha,
The image on https://libredemo.wordpress.com/ -> “My favorite book is not an featured image on the demo, it is just set to align left. For more information on image alignment, you can go to our support page: https://en.support.wordpress.com/images/image-alignment/
I believe the more tag is not working because there is a minimum amount of words that need to be displayed before the continue reading note is shown. The demo is displaying a page break (<!–nextpage–>) if you want to use that instead of the more tag.
Let me know if the image shows up after adjusting the image alignment. I’d be happy to take a look.
Thanks!

Hi!
Even after a left aligned image, the image doesn’t shows up :(
Thanks for page break! Thanks and have a good day

Try removing the more tag altogether and see if the image shows up on the post page. I wonder if that is affecting the image showing up as well.
Let me know what you find. Thanks!

Hey there,
Do you mind if I try a few things under that post to see if I can get the image working?
Thanks!

Found the issue!
You can go to Customize > Content Options and change Blog Display from post excerpt to full excerpt. That will display your pic on your post page!
Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks!
