Libretto doesn't display title with some post formats?

    Dear Community,

I’ve tested a few designs during the last days and found the Libretto theme. I’m a minimalistic kind of guy ;-)
I’m using Syntax theme with my ‘real’ blog (kassandra21.de) and Penscratch as a test with wordpress.com.

    Libretto Theme looks fine, but…

    1. (buggy)
My blog contains standard posts and a category titled ‘Beyond one’s nose’ – mostly containig political flames.
Those articles have another post format that’s called ‘Short News’ in my (german!) dashboard. I guess that would be an ‘aside’ post format or something alike.
Every post within ‘Beyond’ has the same title. Syntax and other themes display this correctly e.g. Penscratch.

Libretto doesn’t. Every aside post appears without title. Instead the title appears on the main page underneath the text and the ‘read more’-tag.
It is formatted as link or referrer. Clicking on it has the same effect as clicking on the title or read more-tag of a post.

In full text view the title appears where it is supposed to. A bug? A feature? Any suggestions how to correct this?
I like Libretto because of the built-in pullquotes. Syntax also features these and I use them frequently – I’m also a long-text-kind of guy :D

    2. (style question)
There is no meta information on the front page? Only date of post appears. No author, no ‘leave a comment’. I prefer to present the meta in the header or footer area of an article.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

All themes supporting post formats are here https://theme.wordpress.com/themes/features/post-formats/

Do not assume that every theme supports all post formats because they don’t.

    See here please:
    https://en.support.wordpress.com/themes/post-formats/#themes-supporting-post-formats

Libretto Aside, Audio, Chat, Gallery, Link, Image, Quote, Status, Video

Every aside post appears without title.

    That’s expected behavior.

    Then see here please:

    Hi timethief,

    thanks for all the fish.

I’d read the theme page for Libretto already.

What confuses me is that there are some themes that take my aside posts and have no probs to display the title correctly. Libretto or Ryu don’t.
The symbol appearing in Libretto is not the symbol shown in the detailed description or demo page for an aside post (may depend on the exact version of the theme?).

Is there any way to filter which themes support aside post AND show them with title? Or do I just have to look and try?

Sorry but the answer is no.
