Libretto: Header
-
Hello,
In the description it says:“Featured Images & Custom Header
Personalize your site by uploading a Custom Header. On posts and pages, your Featured Images, if set, will replace your header image. Use a large image and it will display full-screen, with the title of your post or page layered on top.”
But, in reality, you don’t have to set a featured image to replace the header. Any image that you place in your post replaces the header if a featured image is not set.
Is there a way to fix that? A rectangular (most of the time stretched) part of a square image replacing the header is aesthetically unpleasing. The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hey there,
Many themes do in fact set the first image as Featured if a featured is not specified. Can you link us to the part of your site where you’re seeing the issue so we can see what options are available?

Hi,
Any post (tried “image”, “gallery” or “standard” formats) within libretto theme does it….doesn’t matter if a blog header image is set or not.
Somebody should fix that deceptive information. -

This is actually a feature of that theme that can be easily turned off. Just go to Appearance > Customize > Content Options and uncheck the Automatically use first image in post under the Featured Images section.
