license agreement with WordPress?

  Hi! I’m new to blogging and I have read a lot about copyrighting a blog and about ways to protect my blog from unauthorized use. However, I’m wondering if WordPress has the right to distribute my content. By starting a blog with WordPress, am I giving WordPress rights to my content? Thanks for your comments.

  I found the answer to my own question in the WordPress Terms of Service. “By submitting Content to Automattic for inclusion on your Website, you grant Automattic a world-wide, royalty-free, and non-exclusive license to reproduce, modify, adapt and publish the Content solely for the purpose of displaying, distributing and promoting your blog.” That’s all I needed, thanks.
