  I have added featured posts widgets to homepage sections (as on demo) but they don´t appear on my home page!

  Which widgets (name them please) did you add here > Appearance > Widgets that are not appearing on the front page of your blog?

  When it comes to featured images and featured posts on the Lifestyle theme this is all I can find in the Themes Showcase > http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/lifestyle/ I’m sorry I cannot be more helpful but your theme is a premium theme and we Volunteers answering questions on this forum have no knowledge of how they are designed to operate. Have you tried posting to the Premium Themes Forum?
