  how do I make the pictures background lighter I cannot find the effect that mutes them

  Hi there,

  There isn’t a setting to lighten the images, but if you have upgraded to a Premium or a Business plan which allows the use of custom CSS, the front page images can be lightened by adding the CSS below to the customizer in My Sites > Customize > CSS:

  .pique-panel-background:before {
      background: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.1);
  }

  The 0.1 value in the CSS determines how light or dark the images will be. It can be changed from 0.1 to 0.4, depending on how you’d like the images to look. It’s currently set to 0.5 on your site.

  Sorry, there is actually a setting for this :)

  Please navigate to My Sites > Customize > Theme Options > Select a panel > Featured Image Opacity, select the opacity for that image.
