Lightness of text with Inuit Theme
-
Hello, and again, this is probably an easy one to answer, or at least I hope so.
The text on our home page and also when you open a post is quite light and not as easy to read, especially when some text is within quotes.
I have tried highlighting the text in the ‘Edit Post’ area and changing it to solid black, and as soon as I press ‘Save’. the colour reverts to grey and is still light when you ‘Preview’ the post.
It seems that light grey is the default colour.
Even when you change colours say to a red or a blue, those colours do appear when you preview the post, but are light, and when you rest the mouse over that changed colour back at ‘Edit Post’, the colour icon still says it is grey.
As an example, you can see at this link to a Test post from our site.http://papundits.wordpress.com/?p=36150&preview=true
If you cannot open this Preview Post, then a second example for a ‘live’ post is at the following link.
Again, thanks for any help. We really like this great new Theme

The default in Inuit Types is 333 (very dark grey). In the published post you link to, the text is solid black.

Thank you.
I changed the last paragraph to blue and it shows as blue, only light, because it is in quotes.
The text of the post above that blue section I changed to solid black, all of it, pressed save and it reverted to grey, and still shows as light when you view the post as published, with that section in quotes even lighter still.Tony.

You’re welcome. As I already said, the text in your post (minus the blue now) is black: 000 black, confirmed via Photoshop. So you’re either being misled by the font type you’re using or you’ve set your browser to display different colors or you need to correct your monitor’s color profile.
