  Like button is shown but a non wordpress user cant hit the like button, he is been asked to login to wordpress…why is this happening…please help.

  Hi PP,

  The Likes support page says:
  Note: Visitors must be logged into WordPress.com in order to use the Like button. An alternative for non-WordPress.com visitors is to use the Ratings system.
