like and share buttons
-
Hi. I could a swore I had like and share buttons. Now I don’t see them. I was searching for how to add them and I stumbled on some page showing I had them. I turned them off and back on to see if they would reappear, but nothing. Can anyone help?

Hi there,
Although Likes are turned on globally on your site, you might have them turned-off for individual posts and pages. Here’s how to configure that:

Hi. That didn’t work. They were on. I tried turning them off and back on, but nothing. Any other ideas?
-
@gooberguy1 would you send a link to the post where these are missing? We’ll take a look.

Hi. Here’s the homepage. While your looking, would you check out the contact page and the page titled, The Christ, Born in the USToday. I’m having problems with my mailchimp. I have a thread here on that too.
and this is a bigger problem, higher priority
On the contact page, Under, send us a message, I keep seeing a warning that there is some kind of problem in the html. Some kind of code. I click resolve but it does nothing.
I can send myself messages, but I am thinking others cannot.I tried adding a contact form on The Christ……..page. I don’t see all the settings shown in the instructions, where it says, list fields and merge tags. I tried sending myself an email there, it said successful, but I’m not receiving an email.
I’ve got a paid ad on facebook and am getting alot of hits, but no one joining my mailing list for the giveaway. Thanks,

Brian, I got “Here’s the homepage” but I didn’t find a link in your message. Could you send a link starting with https:// ?
-
from either of those you can see the pages. The contact page has the mail form that sort of works, and the Christ, born in the USToday has my second try, which I cannot find the settings for and it doesnt work at all.

Im looking at this page of instructions
I cant find the list fields and merge tags settings on my site. I’ve a feeling this is a key reason why it is not working.

Our availability is limited these next 2 weeks due to the holiday: https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/holiday-staffing-2020/
The “list fields and merge tags settings” you’re referring to comes from MailChimp’s end, not ours: https://en.support.wordpress.com/wordpress-editor/blocks/mailchimp-block/#connect-to-mailchimp

And they’re gonna say, since it is on a wordpress website, it is your responsibility.
I wondered if support would be this way, which is why I started with a free site before going to something like E commerce. Did I dodge a bullet? -

We can offer support for things we develop and are experts on. MailChimp is connected to your site but it’s a product developed by a third-party and so, their support team will be way better prepared to help you with this issue.
