"Like" button

  My “like” button doesn’t register a “like.” It only takes me to the top of the page. Is anyone else having this problem?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  It worked fine for me on this post http://natureisinyou.wordpress.com/2012/10/17/primal-fear/ I’m using Firefox 16.0.1

  Hopefully, you understand that the like button is an in-house feature. One has to be a logged in Facebook user to use the Facebook like button and it’s the same for WordPress.com users. Only those with WordPress.com accounts who are logged in can use the WordPress.com like button.

  I’ve been having the same problem. I can only “like” a post after I make a comment. I used to be able to click “like” without leaving a comment.

  My like button is not working either, its been like that for the past week. A few people are able to “Like”, but most are telling me it’s not working. I’ve tried it myself and it won’t work.
  So hoping to find a fix in the forums, no luck so far though.

  If you are not running one of the browsers and versions listed at http://browsehappy.com/ please try upgrading or switching first.

  If you are, please do these:
  (1) Try clearing your browser’s cache http://www.google.com/support/accounts/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=32050
  Note: If you are using an IE9 browser in compatibility mode that makes it render as IE7 and IE7 is not supported. To disable see > http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/1196-internet-explorer-compatibility-view-turn-off.html

  (2) Make sure that you have third-party cookies enabled http://en.support.wordpress.com/third-party-cookies/

  (3) Try with all browser extensions or add-ons temporarily disabled.

  (4) Try enabling HTTPS: http://en.support.wordpress.com/https/

  If you aren’t successful let us know which browser (and version of it) you’re using and post any error reports you get.

  What’s extra strange is my “like” button worked just fine on timethief’s blog a moment ago, but when I went to another blog, it wouldn’t work. Frustrating.
