'Like' button

The Like button no longer works when I try to like comments at a blog I frequent. Had no problem with it prior to a day or two ago. I’ve rebooted my PC 3 times to no avail. And yes, I am signed in to WP so that is not the problem.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I should have added if another visitor at the blog I follow sends a response to a comment I make, I can “Like” it but that is the only time the feature works.

Thanks. Now please provide this information for Staff:
(a) Exactly what kind of device you are using to connect to the internet and to WordPress.com.

(c) Exactly what you experience including exactly what any error reports you receive state.

(a) desktop PC
(b) Google Chrome – Version 49.0.2623.112 m
(c) When I click on the “Like” button for another visitor’s comment, nothing occurs. No error reports appear. However, if the visitor posts a comment to me, using that bell alert at top of page (when sidebar slides out and all comments to me appear) the Like feature only works for that specific comment.
(d) screenshot file name: 8qgwo.jpg
This screenshot is what occurred when I attempted to “Like” the first comment to the blog.
I liked the first comment and nothing occurred, not the usual – you and x (insert number of other people) liked the comment. -
Thank you for the info,
A few questions:
So, the only time you cannot like is for an initial comment at this particular blog: theconservativetreehouse.com?
Have you attempted to like comments on other sites?
Have you had any success with that?
Have you tried to like the initial comment while on a different computer?
Different browser?
Also, were you mentioning that you could only like the replied comments under the alert bar?if you could answer these questions for me, I’d love to look into this for you.
Thanks!

Inexplicably, my “Like” function has returned, Darnell. I had assumed that WP had corrected the issue. Thank you for your attention to this matter. The Conservative Treehouse was the only WP blog I visit, leave comments and Like the comments of other visitors to that site, so I would not be able to tell you if I would have been unable to use the “Like” feature elsewhere. Other sites I visit use the Disqus format – no issues there.
