like button and news star

  hi, when I press the like button on someone’s blog page a small window pops up. but it’s blank and nothing happen. I retried clicking over and over again, but nothing working. another problem I have, that the small orange news star in the upper right is not working properly as well. I click and a small window opens , but loading continously.
  I wonder if I have to change some browser settings or so. cookies and popup windows are allowed for wordpress.com. hope, you could help me. thanks in advance!

  I tested and I can’t reproduce what you described. However, it does sound a bit like a local browser or local network issue. As a first troubleshooting step, I would recommend trying to clear browser cache to see if that helps:
