Like button gone

Just noticed this evening that the Like buttons on my post are gone. I’ve checked my settings, a bunch of different posts, and three different browsers. I’ve restarted my computer. The Like buttons and all the likes are gone. Kaput!
I’d noticed in recent weeks that sometimes when I click Like on someone else’s blog, there will be a brief flash of the box, or something, and then nothing. No likes, no check box, no nothing. Only now my posts don’t even show an option to Like.
And I just noticed there’s no place on this page to list a forum/category, a modlook note, or a box to check to notify me of replies to this post.
Houston, you’ve got a problem.

Hey there, Looking at your 5th of July post (grrr-whine) in Firefox 61, I can see the Like button on the post itself (temp screenshot) And of course one can Like in the Reader. (temp screenshot)
About subscribing, when you post directly in the forums, there should be a Tags section where you can add the MODLOOK tag, but for some reason the subscribe to thread box is gone there since after the forums update. You can subscribe to the thread once it has been posted by clicking on the Subscribe to this topic link in the thread sidebar.
When you post via the contact form at https://wordpress.com/help/contact or via any of the question mark icons, to the best of my knowledge, you should be auto-subscribed to your own post.

I can also see a Like button on your latest and previous posts. Which browser and operating system are you using when that button doesn’t appear? supportdetails.com is handy for finding both pieces of information in one place.
And I just noticed there’s no place on this page to list a forum/category, a modlook note, or a box to check to notify me of replies to this post.
There should be a “Subscribe to this topic” link above the tags section on the right and a “Notify me of follow-up replies via email” checkbox under the reply box. Are you not seeing those?

Back at it this morning. Turning off AdBlock Plus seems to have fixed the Like button on my blog. Not sure about other places yet, although this forum page now looks like it should. A bit odd because I thought I had whitelisted WordPress ages ago.

Hi @windwhistle, you should be able to Whitelist WordPress.com and all of the site subdomains by creating a filter in your adblocking extension. You should be able to find documentation on how to do that online.

Yep, I’ve whitelisted WP again. Don’t know how it got switched back.
