“Like” button is disabled, but I still receive notifications of “likes”

    Yesterday I disabled the “Like” button because of spammers. Today (24 hours since I did it) I receive one more notifcation: my friend who is able to comment in my blog, “liked” my new post.

    Is it possible to “like” the post, if there is no button? Can I disable this feature at all in my blog?

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi. When one of your visitors is logged into WordPress.COM, they see a grey “admin bar” with several options, one of them being “Like” (whether or not you chose to display the “Like” button):
