Like Button Option

    Hello!
    I am trying to activate my like button for my blog posts, but I cannot. A friend of mine is also using wordpress and was trying to help me with this. In her dashboard there is a button under Sharing Settings that gives her the option to turn the like button on or off. Mine is lacking this button entirely. I’m not certain why that is. Help, please!

    What is the exact URL starting with http:// of the site you refer to please?
    And, exactly which username account registered that site?

    I’m asking because we cannot accurately answer questions posted here until we have confirmed the URL referred to and verified the hosting. And, that is why we are all prompted to provide the relevant URL when we create a new thread.

    Oh I’m sorry, it linked the wrong site for some reason. The correct one is abookcook.com

    You are posting to the wrong support forum.

    WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums.     As you are referring to a site that is not hosted here, if you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG account, then click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right-hand corner of the page that opens, https://wordpress.org/support/register.php so you can post to the support forums there.
