Likes from people not signed up to WordPress

  Hi there,
  My site went live last week but people aren’t able to ‘like’ anything on there unless they are either signed up to WordPress or use their email. Is this standard? Seems a bit crazy.

  Hi there!

  Yes, in order to like a blog post a WordPress.com account is needed. Just like any other platform with a like button function (Facebook, Instagram, etc.) you need to be registered and logged in to be able to use it. You can find more info about likes here:
