''Likes'' not showing between wp.com blogs / Is my setup for mature content good
-
My blog was flagged as mature because it is: (redacted).
So, I created a new wp.com blog by clicking on ‘add new wordpress’. I called this one: (redacted). My goal is to have the mature content on the new blog, and to have non-mature content on the original blog. But to not lose permalinks I figured that I should I go a step further and eventually pay for site redirect so that original followers and permalinks of (redacted) will be redirected to (redacted). And, to have a blog for non-mature content I then created another wp.com blog and called it: (redacted).
To summarize: (redacted) will be redirected to (redacted) where the mature content will be. And, (redacted) will have the non-mature content.
I exported the (redacted) blog and imported it into the (redacted) blog.
As usual, the export/import worked fine. However, the ”likes” that were on my posts at my original blog (redacted) are not showing on the posts that have been imported into my new blog (redacted). Now, I had this exact same problem when I tried out wordpress.org, and it was explained to me that the ”likes” on the posts could not be transferred from wp.com to wp.org. So I gave up on using wp.org and came back to using wp.com. But now I am moving my blog from a wp.com address to another wp.com address. So why would the ”likes” on the posts not be showing? I truly hope that it is not the case that ”likes” cannot be transferred between wp.com blogs.
If that is the case, I imagine the best solution will be to simply rename my original blog from (redacted) to (redacted) without the need for a site-redirect, that way the ”likes” on the posts will still be there. However, I imagine that I will be losing permalinks as my original blog will now have a new name?
So here are my questions:
-Can ”likes” on posts be transferred between wp.com blogs?
-If I have to rename my original blog will permalinks be broken?
-If the permalinks are broken is there a way around this to fix it?
-Am I going about this the right way? Or should I be setting things up differently?Thank you for any help that you may be able to provide :)

OK, just a little update as I noticed I may have induced myself into error. Even if I change the name of my original blog in the WordPress.com Blog/Site Address Change settings, it says that after changing your blog address you can transfer traffic from the old address by purchasing the Site Redirect upgrade. This means I would have to purchase the site redirect upgrade regardless.
Therefore I am ready to simply change my blog name. The big question however is will the ”likes” on my original posts still show? I do not want to change the site name only to end-up with a bunch of posts that look like nobody has ever seen or liked.
Can WordPress staff confirm that if I change the site name the likes will still be there?
