Likes not working via the browser

I am able to like posts only via the reader. Accessing them through the browser directly to blog addresses clicking like only gives a brief appearance of a blank box (since for quite a long time already). I have tried also without any add ons / Mozilla Firefox, so I think the problem is not on my computer. (And the problem is the same concerning my own blog.)
(I don´t follow the reader continuously so I often visit my favorite blogs via bookmarks. )

You meant the “Like” button on each posts right? I tried to randomly like a few posts in your site – soulfields.wordpress.com – and it works correctly.
Can you try another browser to see if it works? Or maybe in incognito mode to see if it works?
If it fails, can you let us know which are the specific posts where the “Like” button is not working?

The problem concerns all the posts.
If you mean incognito mode of the browser/Firefox I use it all the time (I tried the “ordinary” mode, it is the same).
I´ll be back after having tried another browser.

So, I tried Internet Explorer, and there was no problem.
(My blog theme/Affinity wasn´t looking quite right though as accessed with IE 11. The blog images partly cover the sidebar on the right. The other blogs I visited looked okay.)

One more detail – with IE there was also a blink of a box at first when clicking the like button but the likes went through.
