Likes stopped showing in new posts
-
Likes that I receive in email have stopped showing up in my posts. Did I inadvertently change a setting somewhere? I also note that a Like I gave to someone else only appeared on their blog when I hit the Like button again on their actual blog post.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
I checked the three blog posts you mentioned, and those posts don’t currently have any Likes on them. It’s possible that someone liked your post, the email notification was sent to you about it, and then that person clicked the button again to remove the like. That would explain why you received a notification but don’t see any likes on the posts now.
Please let me know if you have any questions about that!

Thank you, but that doesn’t explain why I Liked someone else’s post that came into my email (because it’s one I follow) but it didn’t show up on their site. I had to go into their site and click the Like button there before it showed up. And I guess I have to hope people do the same to me.
On the other hand, comments that come into my email do show up on my site.

Liking posts by clicking the “Like” link in your email notification should work, too. When you Liked the post that way, did it open a browser window to show the post? (If that window doesn’t appear and finish loading, your Like may not be recorded.)
