Liking comments
-
Sometimes on wordpress when someone comments upon one of your posts, I feel it would be quite a cool idea to be able to like their comment. Sometimes when people comment on our posts and you do not know what to reply but like their post all the same, liking their post can be a good feature.
Such a feature would also encourage people to come back to your blog so they would not feel as if you are being ignorant to their comment, but nevertheless have read it and like it. There are times when I do not know what to reply if my reply does not really add to the discussion as such.
What do you think? are there positives and negatives to having such a feature?

ah gotcha. I’m a fool with a badge to prove it. hehe
any thoughts on the liking comments proposal?
-
MEH … is my only thought. If all “like” buttons disappeared everywhere throughout the internet I wouldn’t even notice it. Yes, I’m an eccentric.
-
I think it would increase readership. It sure does on Facebook. Best-case scenario would be if the Likes a comment had received would show in the Recent Comments widget beside the name. Suggest it to staff via your dashboard Help button.

Since I am quite new to wordpress you would have to take me step by step on how to suggest it to staff? what do I click?
-
Go to your Dashboard. In the top right-hand corner, you’ll see a button called Help. Click it and you get a web form to fill out. Follow the steps all the way through.
