liking posts?
-
A visitor recently liked one of my posts. I was pleased of course. But now I find that they are going systematically though each one of my posts and liking every single one. I can’t believe they are actually reading each one as the ‘likes’ are about 3 per second. Why do you think they are doing this and is there any way of removing them from all my posts? and I have a great many posts.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The only soultion I can think of is to diaable “likes” temporarily.
By default, all WordPress.com blogs display the Like controls under each post and display the gallery of Gravatars for bragging rights. This includes your site.
But, if you would prefer to keep these features off your blog posts, you can do so by visiting Settings > Sharing. http://en.support.wordpress.com/likes/#likes-and-your-site
I’m also thinking you may wish to contact Staff about this. http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/

I wouldn’t worry about it too much. I don’t know why anyone would do that, but it won’t hurt you. Maybe you have a secret admirer? Keep your eyes open to see if they Reblog you, because it’s POSSIBLE that what they’re doing is Liking your posts so they can Reblog them and then remove the credit. It’d be worthwhile looking at their blog and seeing if they’re stealing your content.

I agree.

Thanks for responding everyone – appreciated. I checked their blog out and it’s nothing like mine and not an art blog. However, I am a bit worried now. Its taken me quite a long time to really build this blog up – what would I do if my content was stolen? I think I may disable the ‘like’ button for a bit…

The following links should give you some tips and information:

Disabling the Like button is going too far. What I was mentioning is a theoretical possibility, but I haven’t seen it done.
