limit access to editing web site

    When I look at my web site, there is a small ‘edit’ icon at the bottom and it appears that anyone who sees my site can click on that and change the site. How do I change it so that only I can post and change the site?

    Don’t worry. That “edit” button is there for your convenience. Who knows, you may well need to edit a post at some point in the future. You see the “edit” button on your site because you are logged in to your account. Visitors to your site won’t see any “edit” buttons.
