Limit Log In Attempts Error

  • Unknown's avatar

    Hello,

So I downloaded this plug in that limits the number of log in attempts on my WordPress site at codecanbridge.org. Now I tried logging in again and it keeps telling me that reached the limit and have to wait 24 hours to try again. I have been trying to log in for the past 2 days and it still doesn’t seem to work. How can I get access to my page again?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there:

Please do not create duplicate threads. I’ve removed your other posts and will reply to you here.

We are unable to help because we don’t host your site directly on our WordPress.com managed hosting. Instead, your site is hosted with a different provider on a separate host, and we’re unable to access your site’s backend to take a closer look. But I can get you pointed in the right direction.

You would need to contact the plugin developer of that plugin to get information on how to disable it. You typically can log into your site via FTP, find the /wp-content/plugins/ folder, and find and delete the plugin folder to remove it from your site.

If you’re not sure how to do that or you still have trouble, please reach out to the WordPress community for guidance:

I hope this points you in the right direction.
