Limit # of posts on home page

  Hi, I’m a newbie. It seems like every post is on the home page which makes it way LONG. How do I control the number of posts on the home page? Thanks!

  This can be done on your “Reading” page.
  => Dashboard => Options => Reading
  Now look for this:
  Blog Pages
  Show at most: __ posts
  Insert the number desired and click “Update Options”
  VOILA!
