limit of sub folders

  Is there a limit of how many sub folders I can set up for my website. Example. mywebiste.com/john, how many /sam, /hank, can I set up. I think I saw 45,000?

  I don’t have a site with WordPress.com yet

  Hi there,

  We do not offer server-level access on WordPress.com by default, but you can gain that ability by upgrading to our WordPress.com Business Plan, which will allow you to use our FTP option to gain access to the hosting. https://wordpress.com/support/sftp/

  We do not have a hard limit on the number of folders you create but please note that any contents added to folders will count against your storage capacity for the site, which may limit the number of folders you can create, depending on what is in them.
