Limit on menu structure?

  Hi all, I’ve looked but not seen an answer to my specific problem so apologies if it’s been covered, but: as of last week I can’t add any new categories to my menu structure.

  I run a Hong Kong-based restaurant and food writing site on WP 4.1 using WP Twentyfourteen.

  I can still add posts to categories, but if I try to add a new page/category to the menu structure, I click ‘save menu’ but no dice. I think the problem may be in the ‘manage locations’ tab because sometimes it will default back to ‘select a menu’ instead of what I use as my default.

  I’ve tried uninstalling the plugins but again, no luck. If anyone has potential solutions I’d be most grateful. Also any tips on good menu plugins (or themes) which may make the process smoother (as I seem to be running out of menu space) would be most welcome.

  YOu are asking in the wrong forum and need to be at WordPress.ORG for support with that version of the software.
