Limit the number of posts on homepage

  All of the posts that I have written are on my homepage. I was hoping to just have the last two that I’ve written on my homepage. I’ve tried searching under appearances and layout to change this, but I’m new to wordpress and I’m lost. Anybody have any clues on how I can cut back my homepage to just two posts? Thank you!!

  In your Dashboard>Settings>Reading>Blog pages show at most X posts.

  Just be aware that this also changes the number of posts that appear per page on archive pages, category pages, etc.
