Limit to number of categories?
-
Does anyone know if there’s a limit to the number of categories you check? Might that cause posts to be rejected (not published)?
-
It should publish, but if you have over 12 total tags + categories, it will keep you out of the global tags pages.
-
It can also expose your blog to the risk of being deleted for gaming the system. I’m not sure if any blogs have been deleted, but I know some of them have been warned. They were totally over the top, though (and when *I* say they’re using too many tags, boy, are they using too many tags).

Global tag pages (which are, technically speaking, global CATEGORY pages) are WordPress.com pages that list all the blog posts using a particular category. Here is one example:
http://wordpress.com/tag/allegory/You can change the last word to virtually anything to see all the blog posts that have been categorized with that tag.
-
On your blog, if you click on a category name on one of your posts (above or below depending on theme) you will be taken to the global tag page for that category. If you click on the same category in your category widget in your sidebar, you will be taken to your blog page that displays all of your posts in that category.
