Limit view of post to followers

Hello bloggers,
So we recently started this movie review blog and it’s been getting a lot of support from within our city. In the 3 days of it going live, we’ve even managed to get a few followers to subscribe to the blog. Now these followers get any new post in email, obviously. But is there any possibility of changing some setting so that only part of the post is visible to the follower when they get it in their emails? Which means if they want to read the complete post, they have to visit the blog. Considering ours is a movie review/discussion blog, ensuring people actually visit the site and leave comments, share with others is an integral part.
As might be obvious from the query, we are relatively novice bloggers. So please excuse us if this a noob question or if something similar has already been answered.
Will look forward to getting suggestions.

Go to settings from your dashboard > Reading settings > “For each article” > Select summary > Save changes.
