Limit Width
-
Hi guys,
I’m a beginner editing CSS.
I think my blog’s videos are too small, so I want to increase limit width for videos and full size images. My theme’s limit width is 529px and I’m changing this number on the “CSS Settings” section, but nothing happen when I reload my blog’s page.
What am I doing wrong?Thanks

For reference, I found an example of a post with an embedded Vimeo video at http://segredosdatiaemilia.com.br/2012/09/22/manteiga-de-mostarda/
First, try updating the “limit width” in the CSS Settings on your Appearance → Custom Design → CSS page to 553 (the current width of your post content column).
If that doesn’t make the videos auto-adjust to the right size, then note that you may need to add the right sizing options to the video embed in your post using the text editor.
Here is an example:
[vimeo 44633289 w=500&h=280]Note that you need to get the ratio just right (or maybe just use a w value with out an h value) or the video will size-to-fit oddly.

I noticed you never changed your limit width setting. I’m going to close this topic because I think doing the suggestions I posted about will work for you.
If you do happen to run into any trouble when you try out the suggestions, please reply back here and mark this topic as “not resolved.”
