limitations on custom design upgrade
-
I’m not sure I’m understanding something. I just purchased the Custom Design upgrade for 24 euros. I have two blogs. I want to be able to customise both my blogs. It seems this upgrade is limited in the following way: It isn’t possible apply the upgrade across my blogs so that I can use it simultaneously, but worse, if I transfer this upgrade to the second blog it will affect non-specified changes on the design of the first site I am transferring it from. Is this correct?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
Correct, all upgrades are per-blog, not per-user account.
Let me know if you have further questions!

Thanks for the speedy reply!
Still wondering about 2 things:
1-What happens to the look of my first webpage when I transfer Custom Design from it to another webpage?
2-What happens to my webpage if I don’t renew the Custom Design upgrade in a year? When it expires will this affect the look of my page?
Appreciate knowing what to expect in advance.

Hi Rebecca,
What happens to the look of my first webpage when I transfer Custom Design from it to another webpage?
Any color or font changes or CSS edits you’ve made on the original site’s theme will go back to the default theme appearance.
The same thing will happen if your Custom Design upgrade expires.
Your CSS revisions are stored however, so if you let the upgrade expire and then decide to go back to it again in future, you’ll be able to retrieve your CSS edits.
