limitations to business linking

Just starting out. Zendancer will be about my passions, but also linked to my attempts to make a living as a counsellor/therapist and my new http://www.mensretreat.com.au venture. It is about subsistence living for me not anything else. Can I link to my business from my blog, can I link to other business’s say book shops for further information, where I dont have any financial connection. I have seen some comments on the forums about limitations that have me a bit concerned about this. I dont want to invest further energy on wordpress.com as my prefered platform, If I cant do this. Welcome any help on this one. Paddy

Your best bet is to ask staff directly via http://support.wordpress.com/contact
In general, blogs which exist primarily to drive traffic to other websites can be suspended. A simple sidebar link is fine. Non-affiliate links to other businesses are fine as long as they haven’t been paid for.
