I am a new marketing intern for my YMCA, I was just wondering why I could’nt fully access to making some changes to our website.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Can you reveal the address of the WordPress.com site you’re working on. I assume you’re talking about a different site to the one listed above?
why I couldn’t fully access to making some changes to our website.
What you can do to a WordPress.com site depends on your user role: https://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/

@themagicrobot — I just wanted to add that @moses605379456 is the owner of sampleymca.wordpress.com so there shouldn’t be any limitations as a result of their user role on that site.

@gemmacevans OK. As that site was devoid of content I assumed the OP may be working on some other site as is the case in so many threads these days. My apologies.

No worries @themagicrobot, wanted to mention it just in case :) The same thought crossed my mind too so thanks for following up about the site URL.

This is the support forum for WordPress.com sites such as sampleymca.wordpress.com. The site you are working on isn’t hosted here and will be using the WordPress.org software. You’ll need to register an account and ask for advice at: https://wordpress.org/support/
PS: I’d still check with your boss if you have been assigned the correct user role for what they are asking you to do. -
Hi @moses605379456, given the site is self-hosted, I would find out, and talk to the person who set you up to use that site and find out what role they assigned to you. It could be that they set you up as a author or editor, and not as an administrator.
