Limited number of articles in Sela
-
Hello, I would like to set a limited number of articles per “Home” page.
What I mean is that, when I’m in my Home page, I can see all the articles I posted since the creation of the site. But the thing is, now I have more than 200 articles and it’s a bother to load all the excerpts just when I want to slide down to look at the tags (in the main sidebar widgets) (when I’m on my tablet, I can’t even see them unless I load all excerpts.I would like to set the limit to about 10 or 20 articles per pages. Please, thank you.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hello Aria, here’s how to change the blog feed settings:
1. Visit Settings > Writing > Theme Enhancements. Here, disable the Infinite Scroll option.
2. Now, in Settings > Writing > Content Types (same page, basically), set the number of posts per page you’d like to show under the “Blog posts” heading.Hope this helps and have a great day!

Thank you ! That helps a lot !
But, is it possible to show on which page you are on ? Like the next or previous button ? Or is it impossible with this theme ?Thank you so much for your previous reply !

You’re very welcome!
I understand you’re looking for pagination. Well, that’s not a feature of the Sela theme or, I’m afraid, after doing some research, any theme.
Still, there are two possibilities that I can think of:
1. Get the WordPress.com Business Plan and upload a theme that has that pagination feature.
2. Make an archive page by yourself (example), including all the links and add the archive page link to the header menu.
Let us know for any further help.

Hello there @ariagrimalti, After turning off Infinite Scroll, each time you click the “Older Posts” button a new “page” number will appear in the address bar. Here’s the page URL for the second load of post excerpts on your site’s front page: https://ariagrimalti.wordpress.com/page/2/
But page URL isn’t a good way to organize your content as it doesn’t give your site visitors any hint to what that content is. Your categories and tags are better ways to organize your site content. You can add categories and tags to your main navigation. Since you have a large number of tags on your site, you may want to only add categories to the navigation bar. Here’s how you can do that: https://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/
As @theakshaydhiman suggested, an Archive page might also be helpful, but a strict chronological archive may not be what you want. Using the Display Posts Shortcode, you can display your categories and tags in a number of ways on that Archive page.
Let us know if you need any further help with this.
