Limiting email notification content

  A couple of times I’ve been drafting posts and hit Publish instead of Save Draft.

  1) As I’ve mostly done this whilst using the iPhone app, is there a way to set a default of Draft, rather than Publish?

  2) Is there a setting that will ensure anyone following my blog will only ever get the first few lines of a post emailed to them? (I think if I use the <more> tag that may have the same effect, but if I’m drafting a post I may not have got as far as putting one in yet.)

  2) yes, go to Settings->Reading and set your feed to show only partial posts.
