Limiting others RSS feed by topic

    Hi, I used to have a paid blog on WP but dont have it anymore, and dont have access to the email that I had then either. I’m trying to basically recreate that blog using my old WP backups, but a lot of the paid features are not available, so it’s taking some work.

    I used to have a page set up exclusively for political news updates. I remember that I set up the widget to search for several terms (politic, Obama, Holder, White House, etc), and only display the items that showed those words on the feed.

    I’m not seeing a way to limit the feeds that I have now though.
    I’m simply using smart tags now, and I’ve changed it to not show the summary, but it’s still a lot more information than I want on the page. Is there a way to limit the feed to politics using only smarttags, or is there a widget available as a free user to do that?

    Not holding my breath, but I’m hoping for a “yes!”. Thanks in advance for your help …
