Limiting Posts on first page?

  Hi!
  I’m currently using the Widely theme, and I’m trying to limit how many posts show up on the first page of my website. Is there a way to do that?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  This site https://luxandflux.wordpress.com/ is not wearing that theme.
