Limiting text shown in reader, but not on homepage

  I want the Reader to show only part of my text, so that people come to my blog itself. This is because I take care over the formatting, fitting the width of the pictures to my 768px column width, having two pictures beside each other or framing the text. However, I want a home page which shows the whole text of the post. Reading about the More-tag, it limits the amount of the post shown on the home page, which I do not want.

  Is it possible to limit text on the Reader without limiting it on the home page?

  Change the setting on your RSS feed; that should do it, I believe. Set it to display only partial feeds.

  I wanted to do it so I am in control (!)- the Reader changes other than I want, so I thwart it.
