Limiting What Portfolio Items Appear on Sketch Front Page
-
Hi there,
Been pouring over the Sketch forum threads and still haven’t been able to resolve this issue. I’ve set up the Sketch portfolio front page + featured content slider without much trouble, with some minor CSS mods (thanks, happiness engineers!).
Now I’m building a project showcase page using the portfolio shortcode option. It’s going to display a set of images tagged as “Projects,” under Project Category Tags. No problems there.
However, the @#^%!!! buggers keep showing up on my front page. I want the front page to exclude any portfolios tagged “Projects.”
Site is: JBStrategic.com.
And hypothetically, if I could do something like This person’s Sketch blog on this page, which I believe is not a portfolio set up beyond the front page, I would likely give my poor laptop a break from all of the profanity. Please help.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi, you can give the following a try to remove “Portfolio” from your projects on your main page.
.home .post-267.type-jetpack-portfolio { display: none; } .home .project-navigation-wrapper .jetpack-portfolio { width: 50% !important; } .home .post-268 { margin-right: 0; } .home .jetpack-portfolio { width: 49%; }The above targets only the home page of your site.
On the Sketch blog Books page, the user had simply inserted the images into the page content with an alignment of “none”, one right after the other without hitting return to create a new paragraph. They have put the titles as before the lists of books using h3 heading and then centered them.
