  Good morning,
  I downloaded WordPress through HostGator, but I simply can’t do anything with it. It doesn’t load, I get an error page and my edit tool bar seems to be missing when I log in through HostGator while trying to create a post. How can I fix this?

  Hi there,

  As you said you are hosted on HostGator and not WordPress.com so you are using the self-hosted version of WordPress i.e. WordPress.org.

  These forums are dedicated to WordPress.com hosted sites.
