Line and image spacing issues when publishing

  Hi there. First off, I apologize if this has been covered in another thread. I couldn’t find my exact answer based on the search terms I could think of.

  I am brand new to wordpress.com, and am struggling with the formatting of a new post. In the visual editor, which I understood to be WYSIWYG, everything looks fine. But when I click to preview my post (haven’t actually published yet), it is all mashed up.

  A couple screenshots to demonstrate. This is how my post looks in the editor: http://screencast.com/t/ZTRhOTAxMW. Photos on the left with some text to the right of photos, all in a row going down.

  Now this is how it looks when I preview: http://screencast.com/t/OTUyNDVlMmM.

  I have tried to fix by going back into edit, and hitting enter to push each photo/text combo down so it’s underneath the last one, but it doesn’t stick. I have tried this using both Enter and Shift+Enter. What am I missing??

  i dont know how to do it simply. but i can suggest you a bit long way, which is table forming.
  make table with two cols and 6 (or how much image you have )rows. place images in the first column and definitons to the right part.
  this would be an easy way. and if you dont like table borders make sure adding border=0 after table code.

  Thanks, I may end up doing that for the short term.

  I should also mention, the same thing happened when I placed the images below the text as well (rather than to the right of the images).
