line space after embedding YouTube video

  Hi, I’ve often had the dreaded problem of NO space after a youtube embed, no matter what. Returns, even multiple would not work. It plagued this person here, with no resolution, just a typically offhand ‘response’.

  In case anyone encounters it, the only thing that seems to work is the code as explained below:
  <br>nonbreakingspace, that is: & n b s p ;<br>

  (can’t paste in the above as it ironically becomes a linebreak!)

  Bizarrely I used this new internet trick called a ‘hyperlink’ leading to that post, if you read. What will they think of next…

  There’s no issue: it’s resolved.

  You put in a br code either side of a non spacing break markup and that puts in whitespace after Youtube (and some other) embeds. Previously I think your colleague just offhandedly said to put in a return…
