Line spacing

  When I edit, I will leave an extra line spacing between my entries. But when I publish all the lines are bunched together single space without a double space. Why can’t I get it the way I want it?

  Extra line breaks entered in Visual Editor by hitting Enter key will be stripped out when you publish.

  Thank you for your quick response. I tried following the instructions with the   and it did provide an extra line break. However the ” ” remains on my page. When I erase it the line break disappears. How do I solve this problem?

  If the line breaks are not sticking even after adding html non-breaking space character than the only reason I can think of is this warning on the above linked support document.

  But a word of warning! If, after adding those spaces, you click back to the Visual editor before publishing or updating your post, those spaces will be stripped out again.

  Hopefully you are not switching to Visual editor after adding those spaces.
