Line spacing after paragraph
-
In some cases, extra line spacing left to create better visibility does not show up in the eventual blogpost. This creates a cramped view. I have tried to double the line spacing between paragraphs, but still some posts show no spacing at all after the paragraph.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

This is a feature of the WordPress uploader and the bane of my life as I often need to double space, which often closes up when the post is published.
Sometimes insterting

will work, often not.
I have found a work around. If you shoot me an email through my Contact box, I’ll explain.

a) Ignore users who ask you to contact them: this is a public forum where we help one another and make answers available to all the members of this community, not a place where we invite users to come and have some “secret” privately revealed to them.
b) The web standard is no multiple horizontal spaces, no multiple line or paragraph breaks, no empty paragraphs. Each paragraph has a default bottom margin (blank space below); so the way to increase this space is add some coding in the Text editor to increase the bottom margin, or add bottom padding, or add top margin or padding to the next paragraph. See this post of mine:
http://wpbtips.wordpress.com/2009/06/10/formatting-text-pt-1/c) When you copypaste from other sources such as Word into the Visual editor, you bring in wrong code that messes things up. To make sure the editor works as expected, never copypaste into the Visual editor: when you need to paste, paste into the Text editor.

Thank you, justpi! This was exactly the advice I needed, and I appreciate the way you wrote it – accessible to a relative novice.
